What is the kingdom of God?

The kingdom of God is the revelation of the rule, reign, and realm of
God in Christ Jesus (Mark 1:15). It is the reversal of the works of sin, Satan,
and the world upon human beings and creation through Christ Jesus (Matthew
12:28; Luke 9:1-2). It is also the restoration of God’s purpose for human
beings and creation through Christ Jesus (John 3:3; Romans 14:17). Last but not
least, it is the rest of God that He promises for those who trust in His Son,
Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, beginning now and into the age to come (Hebrews
4:1-13; 1 Corinthians 15:50-56).
