What is the difference between a LIFE Group and a Task Group?

The purpose of a LIFE Group is to grow in life-giving relationships. The purpose of a Task Group is to fulfill a ministry task together. Ideally, when leaders are maturing in their faith, both purposes will be accomplished simultaneously. Overseers of LIFE Groups and Supervisors of Task Groups are leaders of such groups. They are called IMPACT (Integrated Ministry Planning and Coordinating Teams). These groups experience both life-giving relationships and effective teamwork to do ministry together.
