How does RLCC practice giving?

RLCC believes in tithing as well as other forms of giving like offerings, donations, love gifts, and pledges. Giving, especially tithing, is not required for membership but we expect growing disciples of Jesus Christ to practice the grace of giving as a sign of their spiritual maturity. Growth in the grace of giving must accompany other forms of growth in the spiritual life including growth in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness, and in the love (2 Corinthians 8:7) As the Bible says, “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
